As a teenage girl, weight is a tuff topic. There is an added pressure to look good brought on by the “perfect girl” image perceived by the media. This perfect girl image is not real; the models are paint brushed and most have eating disorders. None the less there are many diet plans with healthy meals that will help teenage girls lose weight the right way. How to lose weight healthy surprisingly is very easy and simple. There are several diet meal plans for teenagers that are completely healthy and safe.

Most teenage girls eat out frequently; there are many low calorie meals that they can choose from, regardless of where they choose to eat. Some diet foods that teenage girls should eat consist of fish, fruits, and vegetables. A low calorie recipe for fish is a steamed salmon. Salmon is very rich in protein, which is good for growing teenage girls. Tuna is also a healthy food to eat; there are many low calorie recipes’ that have tuna as an ingredient. There are many healthy fruits a teenage girl can enjoy. Although most fruit is high in sugar, the sugar in fruit is a natural sugar that can be good in proportion and with some exercise. Some of the best fruit to eat are cranberries, grapes, and cantaloupe. These fruits clean out your digestive track. Grape fruit is another fruit that can be considered a diet food. One healthy meal and/or snack could be a fruit bowl. When it comes to vegetables, most are great for you. As a rule of thumb the darker green the vegetable the better it is for you. Celery, broccoli, and dark green lettuce are good examples of healthy vegetables. It is understandable that most teenage girls do not like most vegetables, but there are alternative healthy recipes that incorporate these vegetables. For example for celery you could have some peanut butter, which would give the teenager protein as well. Next with carrots someone can use light ranch. There is not a lot of nutritional value in ranch, but celery will cleanse your digestive track anyways. Lastly with broccoli a person can eat it with some cheese or make it into a dip, with some salt-less chips.

There are many weight loss meal plans and weight loss recipes out there. The truth though is that the easiest way to lose weight is too eat less. Although diet foods and healthy meals are important to jumpstart the immune system, the average person cannot completely shut out all of the sugary sweets. The person on the special diet plan will eventually crash. Then eat all the sweets in sight which will cause the person to gain all the weight back, and sometimes gain extra weight.

Teenage girls should not worry about their weight unless it is harmful to their health. Also having someone there for you so that you don’t come crashing back down is important. There are many diet plans but just eating less and just drinking water will help you lose weight by itself.
